Women's Cross Country Earns at-Large NCAA Championships Bid

NCAA Qualification Release

INDIANAPOLIS (EMUEagles.com) -- The No. 13 Eastern Michigan University women's cross country team received an at-large bid to the upcoming NCAA Championships, today, Nov. 12, the NCAA announced. The honor comes one day after the Eagles took home a fifth-place finish at the very tough NCAA Great Lakes Regional, Nov. 11.

Although the Eagles have had a number of individual qualifiers, this marks just the second time in program history that the team will compete in the national championships. The only other season that the team qualified was in 1996, when the Green and White finished 22nd.
