YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University women's basketball head coach Fred Castro announced the signing of ZaNiya Nelson (Oklahoma City, Okla.-Putnam City West) to a National Letter of Intent, Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Nelson will join the Eagles for the 2020-21 season from Putnam City West High School in Oklahoma City, Okla.
"We are extremely excited to add ZaNiya Nelson to our basketball family today," began Castro. "ZaNiya brings a work ethic on and off the court that is rare to find. Her determination has allowed her to excel as a student and made her one of the most tenacious defenders I have ever recruited.
