YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball program and Head Coach Fred Castro continue to build the team's 2021-22 roster, which includes the acquisition of Illinois native and Louisiana State University transfer Treasure Thompson (Joliet, Ill.-Bolingrook (Louisiana State)), the team announced today, April 20.
Thompson, who hails from Joliet, Ill. will join the Eagles for the upcoming season after spending her freshman campaign with the Tigers.
"I could not be more excited to add a player of Treasure Thompson's caliber," said Castro. "We have been very familiar with her and her style of play since her high school days at Bolingbrook.
