Women's Basketball Falls Short Against Michigan

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team came up short against the University of Michigan, falling 57-38 to its Washtenaw County rivals, Wednesday, Nov. 27, inside the Convocation Center.

Sophomore Natalia Pineda (Miami, Fla.-John A. Ferguson) matched a career-high with a team-best 16 points and four triples, while adding a pair of rebounds, a block, and an assist. Freshman Aaliyah Stanley (Boynton Beach, Fla.-Oxbridge Academy) tallied eight points, two boards, and a steal, while junior Autumn Hudson (Richwood, Ohio-North Union) pulled down a team-high eight boards and recorded one block.
