Women's Basketball Edges Southeast Missouri State, 69-64

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team survived a late scare to defeat Southeast Missouri State University, 69-64, Tuesday, Nov. 19, inside the Convocation Center.

Freshman Aaliyah Stanley (Boynton Beach, Fla.-Oxbridge Academy) led the Eagles (2-2) with a career-high 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting and set a personal-best by knocking down five of her nine three-point attempts. She also pulled down four rebounds and recorded two steals for the third consecutive game.

Redshirt junior Corrione Cardwell (Cleveland, Ohio-New Tech East) added nine points, two boards, and a team-best five assists, while sophomore Natalia Pineda (Miami, Fla.
