Women's Basketball Drops Hard-Fought Contest at Wichita State

WICHITA, Kan. (EMUEagles.com) – Despite taking a one-point lead into the halftime intermission, the Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team was unable to close out the Wichita State University Shockers, falling, 63-52, in non-conference action inside Charles Koch arena, today, Dec. 7.

Eastern (2-6) was led by Aaliyah Stanley's (Boynton Beach, Fla.-Oxbridge Academy) 20 points. The freshman guard was 7-of-15 from the floor, including a career-best six makes from downtown.
