(EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University sophomore Anna Watson (Ashland, Ohio-Ashland) tallied a 36-hole tally of 152 (74-78) for 16th-place on the opening day of the Georgia State Invitational, March 28. Watson carded four birdies on the day at the par 72, 6,225-yard Rivermont Golf Club course. Eastern Kentucky's Ragga Kristinsdottir and Lipscomb's Lauren Thompson are tied atop the leaderboard after recording a two-over 146.
As a team, Eastern Michigan resides in 13th at the 16-team competition, posting a score of 633 (312-321).
