YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team will begin the shortened 2020-21 spring season Thursday, Feb. 4, when Western Michigan University travels to Ypsilanti. The Eagles and Broncos will play two matches, Feb. 4 and Feb. 5, both starting at 6 p.m.
EMU had its first two weekends postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, at Kent State, Jan. 22-23, and versus Ohio, Jan. 28-29. WMU has started the 2021 spring season with a 2-2 mark. The Broncos dropped both matches against Bowling Green, Jan. 28-29, losing 3-0 on both days.
