ATHENS, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) -- Sophomore Samantha Basham (Granville, Ohio-Newark Catholic) and freshman Annie Lockett (Mason, Ohio-Mason) each notched double-doubles to help lead the Eastern Michigan University volleyball team to a 3-2 win (25-23, 15-25, 21-25, 26-24, 15-13) over Ohio University this afternoon, Oct. 8, on the road at Convocation Center.
The victory moved the Eagles' record to 7-9 overall and 2-3 in Mid-American Conference play.
The Eagles were led by the double-doubles from Lockett, who had 13 kills and a personal-best 13 digs, and Basham, who had a career-high 23 kills and 10 digs.
