Eastern Michigan University’s volleyball team left the nest for a set of road matches against Bowling Green and Miami of Ohio. The Eagles lost both games to their fellow MAC opponents by a combined score of 7-1. With the lose, EMU finds itself on a five-game losing streak, dropping the team to 10-14 overall with a 2-6 record in conference.
In the match against Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan came out strong, taking the first set with a score of 28-26. In a back and forth battle, the Eagles secured the set on a kill from Jordan Smith following an offensive error by Bowling Green, but the next three sets belonged to Bowling Green.
