Volleyball Falls in Straight Sets to Western Michigan

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan volleyball team could not overcome a potent Broncos offense, falling to Mid-American Conference foe Western Michigan University in straight sets (15-25, 22-25, 18-25) tonight, Sept. 24, inside the Convocation Center.

With tonight's result, EMU's record now sits at 5-8 overall with a 0-2 conference mark. The Broncos improve to 9-4 with a 2-0 MAC record.

Redshirt sophomore Raeven Chase (Toronto, Ont.-Michael Power St. Joseph Catholic) finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Eagles attack. EMU got 17 digs from Kamryn Stilwell (Parma, Ohio-Padua Franciscan) along with five blocks from Chase to lead them defensively.
