Men picked to finish eighth, women 15th in Great Lakes Region
NEW ORLEANS, La. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's and women's cross country teams have been tabbed to finish eighth and 15th, respectively in the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches (USTFCCCA) Regional Ranking, the organization announced Monday, Aug. 30.
The men were picked eighth overall in the Great Lakes Region, the highest-ranked Mid-American Conference institution on the list, ahead of Miami (ninth), Toledo (11th), and Ohio (15th). Notre Dame, Butler, and Wisconsin took the top-three spots in the region heading into fall competition.
