CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) -- Eastern Michigan University senior sprinter Tyler Underwood (Clinton, Mich.-Clinton) earned Mid-American Conference Track Athlete of the Week honors, the conference office announced Tuesday, Feb. 12. It is the fourth weekly honor for the Eagles this season, and the second consecutive week an Eagles' track runner has been honored.
Underwood earned his second conference weekly honor this season with a second-place finish at the Music City Challenge hosted by Vanderbilt University, Saturday, Feb. 9. Underwood's time of 46.91 was just .001 seconds behind the event's winner, DaShawn Morris, from University of Maryland.
