Two Teams Earn APR Public Recognition Awards From NCAA

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's golf and volleyball teams received NCAA Public Recognition Awards Wednesday, April 13, for their exceptional work in the classroom as part of the NCAA's Academic Performance Program. The APR is an annual scorecard of academic achievement calculated for all Division I sports teams nationally. This is the fourth straight year that volleyball has been honored while it marks the first time for women's golf.

The awards are given annually to teams scoring in the top 10 percent in each sport with their Academic Progress Rates (APR).
