(EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team posted a third-place finish (327-314=641) among six teams at the Don Benbow Invitational Tuesday, March 9, on the par-71, 6,021-yard Jacksonville Beach Golf Course. The Green and White shaved off 13 strokes in the final round of the invitational.
Sophomore Olivia Loberg (Bend, Ore.-Summit) paced the Eagles for a second-place finish with a career-low for 36 holes with a 152 (79-73), just one stroke behind winner Sophia Rohleder from Evansville (75-76=151). Loberg's 73 in the final round was the lowest score among the 36 student-athletes competing.
