YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University track & field program is back in action this week for the Michigan Invitational, Jan. 22. The meet, hosted by the University of Michigan, is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. inside the U-M Indoor Track Building, starting with field events.
Eastern gained great experience at last week's Akron Quad Meet, Jan. 14, highlighted by graduate student Taige Bryant's (Edmond, Okla.-Edmond Memorial) school-record weight throw of 22.85m. The veteran thrower's 22.85m toss is good for first in the Mid-American Conference and second in the nation.
