(EMUEagles.com) -- After finishing its regular season, the No. 7 seeded Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team will begin play in the 2020 Mid-American Conference Tournament Monday, March 9, with a home game against No. 10 Northern Illinois University. Tipoff in the win-or-go-home game is slated for 7 p.m. inside the Convocation Center.
Eastern (14-15; 9-9 MAC) looks to earn a sport in the conference quarterfinals for the third time under Fred Castro with a win. Meanwhile, NIU (11-18; 7-11 MAC) is hoping for a trip to Cleveland of its own after finishing the regular season with wins in three of its last four outings.
