YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Former Eastern Michigan University men's basketball standout Boubacar Toure (Dakar, Senegal-Phase One Academy (Grand Canyon)) was called up to the Senegal National Team to participate in the Yaoundé, Cameroon qualifying tournament for AfroBasket 2021, Feb. 19-21.
This year's tournament returns to Yaoundé for the second time after the central African country hosted the First Round of Group C in Feb. 2020. The national teams that finish in the first three places of each group will qualify for the 30th edition of Africa's premier basketball competition, which will take place in the Rwandan capital of Kigali, Aug.
