YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University Vice President/Director of Athletics Scott Wetherbee announced the hiring of Sara Tisdale as head coach of the lacrosse program today, June 21. Eastern, which announced that it would be adding women's lacrosse as the 19th varsity sport on Nov. 6, 2019, begins play in the 2022-23 academic year.
"We are thrilled to announce the hiring of Sara Tisdale to be the next leader of our women's lacrosse program," said Wetherbee. "Not only does she have tremendous experience building a program from the ground up and leading it to a conference title, but also has done it in the state of Michigan.
