YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Former Eastern Michigan University men's basketball star Tim Bond (2014-18) came to an agreement with the New York Knicks to join its squad for the upcoming National Basketball Association (NBA) Summer League.
Bond, the 2018 MAC Defensive Player of the Year, as well as a member of the Eastern Michigan 1,000-point club, will make his debut with the Knicks in the Las Vegas Summer League Friday, July 5, against the New Orleans Pelicans. The guard spent the 2018-19 season as part of the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the NBA G-League affiliate of the Houston Rockets.
