ANN ARBOR, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University track & field program continued to build with another solid outing at the Michigan Invitational today, Jan. 22, inside the U-M Indoor Track Building.

For the fourth consecutive meet, the men's team saw their weight throw record broken, this time by junior Newlyn Stephenson (Gary, Ind.-Thea Bowman Leadership Academy). Stephenson produced a toss of 23.22m to take second overall in the competition. The Gary, Ind. native's mark tops teammate Taige Bryant's (Edmond, Okla.
