Paul Fricano, Jordann McDermitt and Hylnur Anderesson were all named athletes of the week in their respective sports for their performances over the weekend.
Redshirt freshman kicker Paul Fricano was named the Mid-American Conference, West Division, special team player of the week. Fricano helped the Eagles defeat the Charlotte 49ers in the 37-19 victory. He was perfect in his performance as he made all three of his field goals and all four of his extra point attempts. This was his second time this season being named to the award.
Junior Jordann McDermitt was name the MAC runner of the week after she led her team to a first place finish at the Commodore Classic over the weekend.
