YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University men's swimming and diving team returns to action this weekend, Saturday, Oct. 14, when it travels to the Bluegrass State to take on the University of Kentucky. This is the first time the Eagles and Wildcats have faced each other in the pool for a dual.
The Eagles enter the weekend after handing Northwestern a 153-141 defeat in their season opener, Oct. 11. Eight first-place finishes paced the Eagles, including a sweep in the backstroke events by junior Tosh Kawaguchi (Cary, N.C.-Cary), who also earned the top spot in the 200 individual medley.
