YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University tennis team will head to nearby Ann Arbor, Mich. to compete in this year's Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional this week, Oct. 12-17. The six-day event will be held at the Varsity Tennis Center on the campus of the host school, the University of Michigan.
In a change from past years, the tournament will be held outdoors if weather allows since the national tournament is now an outdoor tournament. Fans are encouraged to follow Michigan tennis on twitter (@umichtennis) for the most up-to-date information on whether the matches will be indoors or outdoors.
