(EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University football team treated fans to an exciting exhibition to close out the spring schedule Saturday, April 13, inside "The Factory" at Rynearson Stadium. Team Fink defeated Team Hale, 14-7, in the 2019 Spring Game thanks to a sack on third down by sophomore Vince Boyd (Flint, Mich.-Carman-Ainsworth) that thwarted a game-tying drive.
Sophomore Jairus Grissom (Dearborn Heights, Mich.-River Rouge) led Team Hale down field on an 76-yard drive, capped by a four-yard QB keeper on third-and-goal to put the White team up, 7-0, on the first possession of the game.
