Swim & Dive Prevails Over Toledo in Season Opener

TOLEDO, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University swim and dive program defeated the University of Toledo, 165-134, inside the Student Recreation Center Pool today, Oct. 28.

Eastern won 10 events on its way to its season-opening victory Friday night. Senior swimmer Carlin Hudson (Chattanooga, Tenn.- Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences) led the way for the Eagles, notching three first-place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle (51.39), 200-yard freestyle (1:51.45), and the 200-yard individual medley (2:07.14), respectively.

On the diving board, the duo of Camryn Hughes (London, Ontario-Sir Banting Frederick Secondary) and Keira Veltigian (Oxford, Mich.
