COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (EMUEagles.com) - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced that the Eastern Michigan University swimming and diving program was named a Scholar All-America team today, June 30. The Eagles have now earned the award in each semester of the 2019-20 season.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, student-athletes overcame the challenges of moving to a virtual learning model midway through the semester. The swimming and diving program embraced the challenges, posting a program-best 3.689 semester GPA. In addition, the program had 10 student-athletes post 4.0 GPAs, the most individuals of any team at EMU.
