Strong Fourth Quarter Lifts EMU Past Detroit Mercy

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – For the second time in as many seasons, the Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team used a fourth-quarter rally to defeat the University of Detroit Mercy Wednesday, Dec. 5, inside the Convocation Center. Trailing by six to begin the final frame, the Eagles (4-2) outscored the Titans (2-6) by a 23-10 margin in the fourth quarter to secure a 60-53 victory over their intrastate counterparts.

In addition to matching a career-high with 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting, redshirt senior Lorraine Enabulele (Ajax, Ontario, Canada-Notre Dame (Kansas)) set a personal-best with 17 rebounds for her first collegiate double-double.
