Strong Final Day Propels EMU at GCU Invitational

PHOENIX, Ariz. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team posted the 12th-lowest 54 hole score in program history Tuesday, March 15, at the GCU Invitational. Head Coach Bruce Cunningham's club notched a second round 279 and followed it up with a 287 for a three round cumulative score of 861. The two-day tally is the lowest by an EMU squad since an 850 was shot at the Loyola Intercollegiate, Feb. 22-24, 2020.

Senior Ty Celone (Long Sault, Ontario, Canada-St Joseph's Catholic) recorded his 24th career top-25 finish on the par 71, 7,148 yard GCU Golf Course.
