(EMUEagles.com) – Senior Julia Stevenson (Milford, Mich.-Milford) turned in the top score for the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team, shooting 76 and 75 on the day Mary Fossum Invitational, Sept. 22. As a team, the Eagles turned in a team score of 624 (317-307) on the par 72, 6,315-yard Forest Akers West Golf Course.
Host Michigan State sits on top of the field by 20 strokes with a 588 (298-290). Western Kentucky is in second place with a 608 followed by Boston University (611), Princeton (614), and South Dakota State (620).
