Staying Home: Men's Hoops Lands Top Michigan Talent, Orlando Lovejoy

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University basketball program continues to build its roster with Motor City talent, as Head Coach Stan Heath announced the signing of Orlando Lovejoy (Detroit, Mich.-Summit Academy North) today, May 4.

A 6-foot-2 shooting guard, Lovejoy was a four-time letterwinner and four-time team captain during his prep days with the Summit Academy North Dragons, as well as 1 of 1 Prep Academy in Charlotte, N.C.

One of the most sought-after recruits in the State of Michigan, Lovejoy put up unbelievable senior year stats that included 27 points per game, eight rebound per contest, and seven assist per game averages.
