PHILADELPHIA (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University wrestling team completed a busy weekend with a top-three team showing at the Keystone Classic, Sunday, Nov. 20. The Eagles took third in a field of 12 teams, and were led by redshirt junior Kyle Springer (New Boston, Mich.-Davenport Assumption (Indiana)), who won the 141 lbs. crown.
In total, EMU placed eight wrestlers in the top-six of their weight classes. Also placing on the day were redshirt freshman Noah Gonser (Grand Blanc, Mich.-Grand Blanc), who captured runner-up honors at 125 lbs.
