DALLAS, Texas (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team dropped its second straight game to open the 2016-17 season, Sunday, Nov. 13, on the road at Southern Methodist University. The Eagles (0-2) struggled to get its offense going, shooting just 34 percent from the floor while the Mustangs (2-0) connected on 52.7 percent of its field goal attempts.
Eastern Michigan was led by Ray Lee (Detroit, Mich.-Romulus) offensively as he scored 26 points, doing a large majority of his legwork at the charity stripe, hitting 14 of his 15 attempts from the free throw line.
