WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – After a pleasant morning round, the Eastern Michigan University men's golf team trudged its way through a rainy second round of the Boilermaker Invitational before the event was suspended due to darkness at 8:35 p.m. EMU and a handful of other teams will resume on Sunday morning with the final round to follow.
Overall, Eastern posted a 294 and is five-over in the second round in 10th-place. Indiana holds down the top-spot with a 566 (290-286), while No. 47 Kent State (295), Purdue (570), No. 6 Illinois (571), and Minnesota (573) round out the top-five.
