CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University soccer team saw 12 players named to the Academic All-Mid American Conference Team, the league office announced today, May 18.
The 12 selections mark the seventh consecutive season the Eastern Michigan soccer program has had at least 10 members named to the Academic All-MAC Team, dating back to the 2014 season.
Bowling Green led the way with 17 student-athletes on this year's list. Ball State and Northern Illinois each had 13 honorees, while Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan had 12 student-athletes apiece.
Representing EMU on the team are: seniors Chelsea Abbotts (Ottawa, Ontario-Mother Teresa), Marla Cobetto (Trenton, Mich.
