Eastern Michigan University’s women’s soccer team close Homecoming weekend with two straight victories in Mid-American Conference play. The Eagles scored two goals in the first half against the Falcons of Bowling Green State University while taking a total of 16 shots.
Early on in the eighth minute of action midfield senior Gabrielle Mancini received an assist from Sophomore Peyton Davis as she scored EMU’s first goal of the afternoon and take a 1-nil lead.
The Eagles would apply pressure on the Falcons defense before senior Ellie Tillar scored the second goal for EMU with 15 minutes left in the half.
