ROCHESTER, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University soccer team dropped a tough road game at Oakland University Sunday, Aug. 20, with an early goal being the difference in a 1-0 setback in Rochester, Mich. The Eagles fell to 0-1-1 on the year while the Golden Grizzlies improved to 1-1-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Eagles found themselves down early as the Golden Grizzlies grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 5'. On the play, the OU offense made its way down the right wing with Macey Wierenga slotting a pass across the six where Anuhea Aluli hit home for the lead.
