KANSAS CITY, Mo. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University soccer team was recognized by the United Soccer Coaches with a Team Academic Award for the 2019-20 academic year today, Sept. 24.
The Eagles posted a 3.621 team grade point average (GPA) in 2019-20, including a program-best semester GPA of 3.722 in the Winter 2020 term. Soccer's 3.621 cumulative GPA ranked fourth-best in the athletic department last year.
Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.
