YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- After repeating as Mid-American Conference Indoor Champions, the Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team placed six student-athletes on the All-MAC First Team today, Feb. 29. The Eagles, who won their fifth title overall, also had one more on the second team.
Leading the way on the first team was junior Alsu Bogdanova (Kazan, Russia - Lyceum #83), who took home the title in both the mile and the 5000m. Bogdanova's 5000m time, just ahead of teammate Jordann McDermitt (Davison, Mich. - Davison), was also a MAC Championship record.
