YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Following the Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team's historic victory at the Mid-American Conference in which the team secured the Triple Crown, the league office announced today, May 16, that seven EMU student-athletes earned First-Team All MAC honors. Additionally, the Green and White also placed a pair on the second team.
Leading the way with first team honors was the mid-distance duo of sophomores Rebekah Branham (Circleville, Ohio - Circleville) and Natalie Cizmas (Clinton Twp., Mich. - Chippewa Valley), who claimed first-place finishes in the 800m and the 1500m, respectively.
