YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Sean McCarthy has been promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance, Eastern Michigan University Vice President/Director of Athletics Scott Wetherbee announced Monday, March 4. McCarthy, who is in his second year with the department, previous served as the Eagles' Assistant Director of Compliance.
"Sean has demonstrated he is ready for his new responsibilities," said Wetherbee. "He has a wealth of compliance experience and a genuine passion for our University and our student-athlete population. I am confident he will lead our department's compliance efforts in a manner that builds upon the unit's unwavering commitment to NCAA, conference and university guidelines.
