YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Members of the Eastern Michigan University track & field program continue to impress in big competitions as four former Eagles recently took part in national and international championship events. Three Eagles, led by Olympian Donald Scott, competed at the 2023 USATF Outdoor Championships last week while Brittni Mason is currently in Paris, France, representing the United States at the 2023 Para World Championships.
Last week at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore., Scott, Natalie Cizmas, and Willy Fink each competed at the U.S. national championship event with hopes of not only winning a title, but also earning a berth onto Team USA for the upcoming World Athletics Outdoor Championships next month in Budapest, Hungary.
