CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University junior gymnast Caitlin Satler (Orland Park, Ill.-Carl Sandburg) again earned Mid-American Conference Specialist of the Week honors, the league office announced today, Feb. 2. This the second time she has been honored in her career, as well as the second-consecutive SOTW honor for the Green and White this season. Senior Cortney Bezold (Maineville, Ohio-Bishop Fenwick) received the honor, Jan. 26, for her performance on bars.
Satler scored the second 9.900 of her career on beam, Jan. 31, at Kent State. Matching her career-high in the event, the junior also tied for first place.
