CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University junior kicker Chad Ryland (Lebanon, Pa.-Cedar Crest) collected Mid-American Conference West Division Special Teams Player of the Week honors, the league announced today, Nov. 15. It marks the second time in 2021 that Ryland has garnered the accolade and the sixth-time overall in his career.
Ryland continues to prove he is one of the best assets in the conference. The junior was 2-for-2 on field goal attempts against Ohio University, Nov. 9, an effort which included his career-long and program-record-tying 55-yarder. After starting the season just 3-for-6, the Lebanon, Pa.
