CHERRY HILL, N.J. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University rowing team heads to Cherry Hill, N.J. to compete in the Cooper Invitational hosted by Bucknell University Sunday, April 7.
The Eagles competed in the Cooper Invitational last season, earning two top-three finishes in the Varsity 4+ and Second Varsity 8+ with times of 9:02.55 and 7:55.59, respectively. The Varsity 8+ recorded a fourth-place performance in the Grand Final, besting Duquesne University and Villanova University with a time of 7:18.07.
Racing is set to begin at 8 a.m. with the Varsity 8+ preliminary heats, followed by the Second Varsity 8+, Varsity 4+, and Novice 8+/ Third Varsity 8+ qualifying competitions.
