FAIRFAX STATION, Va. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University crew team captured its second consecutive Harvey Cup, by taking two out of three races from the University at Buffalo at the George Mason Invite, Sunday April 17. EMU also claimed victory in four of its six races on the day.
The victory marks the fourth Harvey Cup in program history. The Harvey Cup is named in recognition and memory of the University at Buffalo's former Associate Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator Nan Harvey, who passed away in September of 2003 after courageously battling cancer for over three years.
