Raymond Earns All-American Honors at NCAA Championships

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – Senior Nick Raymond (Erie, Mich. – Mason) of the Eastern Michigan University men's cross country team wrapped up the Eagles' season Saturday, Nov. 19, at the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. After finishing 154^th last season, Raymond came back with a vengeance this year, running to a 31^st-place finish, which was good for All-American honors.

Unfavorable weather conditions definitely came into play early on, as race conditions were very cold and windy. The pack remained close throughout the opening half of the race, with Raymond eventually sitting in 66^th near the halfway point.
