Pitching leads EMU to 4-0 shutout of Bowling Green

The pitchers led the Eastern Michigan Eagles (8-13, 2-0 MAC) in a shutout of the Bowling Green State University Falcons on Saturday afternoon at Oestrike Stadium.

The Eagles were led by senior Augie Gallardo who pitched five and a third innings and accumulated seven strike outs. Then came in senior Michael Marsinek who pitched until the end of eighth inning. Junior Sam Delaplane came in for the last inning, marking his second straight appearance.

The offense got started early when sophomore Brennan Williams flied out to get redshirt junior Marquise Gill on the sacrifice fly to set the score to 1-0.
