AKRON, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team snapped a five-match losing streak with a three-set victory over the University of Akron Friday, Oct. 21. The Eagles (8-14, 3-6 MAC) defeated the Zips (5-16, 0-9 MAC), 25-22, 24-19, 25-21.
Devon Murray (Shelby, Ohio-Shelby) led the Eagles hitting at a scorching .609 attack percentage with 14 kills on 23 attempts without an error. Riley Taylor (Indianapolis, Ind.-Perry Meridian) set for the Green and White, racking up 31 assits, while also hitting at a .571 attack percentage with four kills.
