The Eastern Michigan men’s track team opened up the season on Friday, December 9, at the Findlay Oiler Open in Bloomington, where they sent out two heptathletes and six throwers.
Of the six throwers, junior Elijah Albert-Grayer led the Eagles, finishing in fourth place with a toss of 17.51 meters. Finishing behind Albert-Grayer for the Eagles was sophomore Zach Harkey finished in 11 spot with a toss of 15.83 meters, freshman Austin Hazek finished in 12 spot with a toss of 15.70 meters, freshman Taige Bryant, who finished at 17 with a toss of 14.77 meters, junior Mike Hierholzer who finished at 19 with a toss of 14.
